YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product information, answer questions, and offer styling advice.
  • Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in visual merchandising and restocking of products.
  • Actively involved in the receiving of new stock.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and help achieve sales goals.
  • Uphold elevated levels of customer satisfaction in line with the company's mission and customer service criteria.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and professionally, finding resolutions that uphold the company's reputation for exceptional service. Manage point-of-sale processes.
  • Keep up to date with product information.


YOUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong passion for fashion and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and over the festive season.
  • Have the ability to promote sales and overall profitability goals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic administration skills.
  • Strong PG-skills, MS-office Knowledge, and Gmail.

2. Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our dynamic, energetic team! As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy and campaigns. You will assist in shaping our brand’s online presence and engage with our community. This role requires versatility, creativity, and a passion for crafting engaging content that resonates with our audience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to our brand's growth, keep reading!

REQUIREMENTS:
● Degree in digital marketing or a related field.
● Certificate in digital marketing at places like Red & Yellow is advantageous.
● Experience in working with social media.
● Skilled in Canva Pro, Adobe Suite (Lightroom, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Premier
Pro Rush) is a plus.
● Knowledge in social media and scheduling tools.
● Familiarity with social media reporting and trend research.
● Good written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong organizational skills and multitasking.
● Creative and strategical thinker with an eye for detail.
● Passionate about content creation
● Photography/videography skills is a plus.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
● Eagerness to learn and adapt to new environments.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Content Creation: Be involved and hands-on with assisting in creating compelling visual and written content for our social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn to showcase Old School as a brand our community wants to belong to.
  • Scheduling of Content: Scheduling and maintaining a content calendar, scheduling posts and writing captions/copy for a consistent and timely presence on our social media platforms.
  • Sourcing and Editing UGC Content: Source and edit all consumer generated content that we’d like to post on our social platforms to ensure we have high quality imagery and a consistent presence throughout all platforms.
  • Collaboration: Assist with brainstorming and executing powerful and impactful campaigns with the whole marketing team. Collaborate with the Marketing Executive to align social media efforts and communications with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor and engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, engaging with tagged posts, and mentions, fostering a positive and interactive online environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the operations of multiple retail stores within the designated region

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction are maintained across all stores

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability

  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed

  • Maintain a strong visual merchandising presentation in line with brand standards

  • Oversee store maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement

  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and drive store traffic

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion industry will be at your advantage

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software
