Old School Return & Exchange Policy
At Old School, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange an item, please review our policy below, which is in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 2008.
1. Returns and Exchanges:
We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:
• Defective or Damaged Items: If the product is defective, damaged, or not as
described, we will offer you a full refund, exchange, or store credit (voucher), as per your preference within 14 days from the date of purchase. Original shipping cost included.
• Unsuitable Items: If the product is not suitable for its intended purpose or doesn’t meet your expectations, we will gladly accept a return or exchange, provided the item is in a re-sellable condition (unused, unworn, unwashed, and with all original packaging, tags, and labels intact).
• Sale and Discounted Items: Items purchased on sale or as part of a promotion are still eligible for return or exchange within 14 days from the date of purchase if they are defective or not as described.
2. Return Process:
To return an item, please follow these steps:
1. Contact Us: Email us at support@oldschool.co.za with your order number and reason for return within 6 months from the date of purchase.
2. Return Authorization: We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item. Please ensure it is in its original, unused condition with all packaging, tags, and labels.
3. Refund or Exchange: Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund, exchange, or store credit as requested. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
3. Products Not Eligible for Return or Exchange: The following items are not eligible for return or exchange, unless they are defective:
• Personalized or customized items.
• Used or worn items that no longer meet the original condition for resale
4. Important Notes:
• Products are not eligible for a refund, return or exchange without a valid proof of
purchase.
• Please note in the event of a return of a defective item without proof of purchase, we
will issue an Old School gift card.
• Alterations made to the product without prior authorization from us will make the item
ineligible for return.
• Items purchased during sales or promotional events (e.g., Black Friday) are still covered under this policy, provided they are defective or not as described.
• No returns can be processed during large sale events (Black Friday) and will be processed once the sale event ends.
• If the return is due to a defective or incorrect product, we will cover all shipping costs
associated with the return. For non-defective returns, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
