Orders

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can check out as a guest by providing your delivery and payment details during checkout. Creating an account allows you to track orders, save delivery details, and view your order history.

How do I create an account?

Click on the Account icon on the website (top right) and follow the prompts to register using your email address and password or one-time pin. All order related communication will be sent to the email address linked to your account.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. Once your order is placed successfully, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order number and order summary.

Why did I not receive my order confirmation email?

Please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate the email, contact support@oldschool.co.za.

Can I change my order after placing it?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may still be able to update certain details. Please contact support@oldschool.co.za immediately with your order number.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can only be cancelled before they are processed and dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number (live link to click on) and courier information.

What happens if part of my order is cancelled?

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, our Support Team will contact you to offer: A refund, an online gift voucher or an alternative product of the same value.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • PayJustNow.

Payflex and PayJustNow allow customers to split payments into instalments.

Why did my payment fail?

Payments may fail due to insufficient funds, incorrect card details, bank security checks, or payment gateway authorisation issues. Please retry the transaction and make sure not to exit the bank verification stage. Please double check your payment details or try an alternative payment method.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes. Enter your discount code during checkout before completing your payment. The discount will be applied to your order total before payment is processed.

Can I use more than one discount code?

Only one discount code can be applied per order unless otherwise stated in the promotion.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Virtual gift cards are available for purchase on our website. Gift cards can be redeemed online and in-store. You may select if the gift card is for yourself or send it to a recipient on a specific date. We do not offer physical gift cards.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Most local deliveries within South Africa arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch. International deliveries are between 5-7 business days.

How much does shipping cost?

A standard shipping fee of R100 applies to orders valued below R1,500 for local (South Africa) deliveries.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Free shipping is offered on local orders above R1,500.

Can I update my delivery address?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to update your delivery address. Please contact support@oldschool.co.za immediately.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping is available to selected countries. You will be quoted a rate by one of our international shipping partners at checkout. Old School is not responsible for additional taxes or duties incurred by international shipments, these are payable by the customer.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

No. Courier companies cannot deliver to PO Boxes. A physical street address is required.

Can I collect my order?

No. We currently do not offer store collections. All orders are shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout. In some cases, click and collect options may be available at checkout based on your address provided.

What happens if I am not home during delivery?

The courier may attempt delivery again or contact you to arrange another delivery time. Most couriers attempt delivery 2–3 times before returning the parcel to our warehouse. If a parcel is returned to our warehouse, Customer Support will contact you to arrange reshipment or a refund.

My tracking shows delivered, but I have not received my parcel. What should I do?

Please check with neighbours, reception, or building security first. If the parcel cannot be located, contact support@oldschool.co.za.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Customers have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return, exchange, refund, or voucher. Items must be unused, unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and returned with original tags and packaging. Please make sure to view our full returns & exchanges policy here.

How do I return or exchange an item?

You can log your return or exchange through our Returns Portal which is located under the support tab at the top of this page. Please make sure to have your email address and order number on hand. If you require assistance, please contact support@oldschool.co.za.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds typically take 7–10 business days to reflect depending on your payment provider.

What if I received a defective item?

Please log a return through the Returns Portal and include images of the defect and a description of the issue. Our team will be happy to assist with a replacement.

What if I received the wrong item?

We sincerely apologise if we sent you the wrong item, mistakes do happen! Please log a return through the Returns Portal and include images of the incorrect item received. Our team will correct the order for you as soon as possible.

Can I return an international order?

No. International orders cannot currently be returned to South Africa. Please make sure you check our size guides before placing your order. If an international return is submitted via the returns portal it will be rejected.

I received an item as a gift. How can I exchange it?

To process a gift exchange, we require the original order or purchase number.
If unavailable, our Support Team may be able to locate the order using the purchaser’s name or email address. Kindly reach out to our support team if you are unable to locate the order information.

Do you provide size guides?

Yes. Size guides are available on product pages to help you choose the correct fit. You may also make use of our size recommender on the product pages.

How should I care for my garments?

Care instructions can be found on the garment label and product page.

Are Old School garments for both men and women?

Yes. Old School offers clothing suitable for both men and women, and many designs are unisex. Please make sure to check the product information for more details.

My size is out of stock. How can I be notified?

Enter your email address in the 'Notify Me' box on the product page. You will receive an email notification once the size becomes available again. This does reserve or guarantee the item for you, it is simply a restock notifications. Sales work on a first come, first serve basis.

Do you have physical stores?

Yes. Old School has multiple stores across South Africa. Store locations and trading hours are available on the Store Locator on our website.

How do you protect my personal information?

We follow strict privacy and data protection policies to ensure customer information is handled securely. You may reach out at any time to request the deletion of your personal records.

We offer free shipping on local orders over R1,500. For orders below R1,500, a shipping fee applies.
